Hi, I’m Susie – mum, wife, midlife dreamer, part-time author, and full-time juggler of everything.

I live in South Wales, care for my wonderful dad, and write in my garden room where chocolate, memories, and new ideas collide.

Once a chemist, then a photographer, now an author, I’ve always followed the breadcrumbs of curiosity and reinvention.

I write women’s fiction that celebrates the messy, magical reality of life for women in their forties, fifties, and beyond.

I know what it is to start over – after heartbreak, burnout, and those moments when you wonder if you’ve disappeared altogether.

My debut novel, Time for Tuscany, was born from a deeply personal chapter in my life and is a story rooted in emotion, resilience, and the strength needed to rebuild something new... when the life you imagined falls away.

Fun Facts About Me

  • I love animals, shoes, and chocolate – in no particular order.

  • I make a mean plate of pancakes. The Welsh way, mind. Yes, there is a difference.

  • My family are my world.

  • I’m an introvert who prefers a sofa supper and a movie, to putting on my 'got-it-together' face.

  • I bake. I travel.

  • I make a mean chocolate cake (and eat half of it while writing!)

  • I once owned a Triumph motorbike – yes, I was a biker chick.

  • My garden room is my creative sanctuary.

  • I feel guilty, all the time.

  • I believe no story is ever truly finished – we’re all just in another chapter.

I write for women who feel stretched, unseen, or stuck – because I’ve been there too.

If you love stories with emotional depth, humour, friendship, and a second chance at love, I’d love to welcome you into my world.
